About Wedded Bliss Photography
Renee Leveille, a professional wedding photographer and the principal owner of Wedded Bliss Photography, has been honored for her photographic excellence in “Celebrity Bride Guide”, “Inspired by This” and local media. Her clients include celebrities such as Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski of ABC’s “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” and professional athletes. In 2009 and 2010, Wedded Bliss won the coveted Best Wedding Photo and Best Engagement Photo with the prestigious bride.ca.
She is a lifetime resident of the Okanagan Valley and graduate of the prestigious Western Academy of Photography. Her rigorous photographic training has also led her to study with two of the top ten wedding photographers in the world - Joe Buissink and Jerry Ghionis.
She has spent years traveling the world looking for that “perfect shot” and it shows in her world class portfolio. Renee’s academic background also includes a B.Ed. from Trinity Western University and she has taught photography internationally.
A focus in fine art studies led to Renee working for 3 years as an art dealer and art gallery director. Renee’s specialty in art was Rembrandt Van Rijn, the Baroque master of chiaroscuro, an Italian renaissance term describing the interplay of light and shadows. Today, some of Renee’s more famous photographs hang next to some rare Rembrandt etchings in her gallery.
It is this combination of academic photographic training and her long time study of art that has led to Renee’s unique and compelling style of photography. Her work has been hailed as, “the perfect blend of craftsmanship and artistry”. A quote that Renee is happy to live with, as her goal with Wedded Bliss Photography is to transform every precious memory into an actual work of art.
