Grad Photos in the Okanagan

Creating Grad Photos in the Okanagan takes on an extra layer of meaning when the handsome young man you are driving to meet in Armstrong BC is the son of your best friend.

This young man, Max and his beautiful girlfriend Ella, started dating at the beginning of the school year.

My best friend was actually expecting Max when my husband and I got married and she actually popped her dress and had to be stitched in because of her adorable tummy.

To say that it feels like the blink of an eye since he was born is an understatement.

I love using Otter Lake in Armstrong BC as a backdrop for wedding portraits and it is also spectacular for Grad Photos so when Ella suggested it as a location I was super happy. It is so tranquil and no one is ever there!

Max is a conscientious young man who loves motor cross, his family and his dog Charlie. It was an honour to capture this exciting time in his life as his high school education comes to a close.

His big sister Stella, graduated in 2023 and I was honoured to photograph her then too. She has chosen the path of becoming a counsellor and will be moving to the big city of Kelowna BC to continue her education come September.

Max, you will tackle anything that comes your way in the next few years with confidence and charm. Just like you do so many things. All of us, especially your mom and dad are so proud of you!
