Kelowna Wedding Photographer

As a Kelowna Wedding Photographer (who lives in Vernon) there is a small debate as to what city the beautiful Sparkling Hill Resort is located in. Many visitors believe it is in Kelowna, but thankfully it is much closer to me in Vernon and so I get to use it’s beautiful scenery as a backdrop for many of my beautiful clients and sessions. It truly is one of the most beautiful resorts I know.

If you missed my post about TJ and Jenna’s beautiful wedding ceremony at Kekuli Bay above Kalamalka Lake, you must check it out too. It was one of the most stunning backdrops for a wedding I have ever witnessed for a ceremony and although I know they are planning a big wedding in Zimbabwe where TJ is from in the next year, I know this intimate ceremony will also hold a very special place in their hearts. I told them they must camp at Kekuli Bay one day when they have children and tell them all about their beautiful love story and how they get married in the fields surrounding the campground.

We spent time after their ceremony creating these beautiful portraits along the meadows of Kal Lake, capturing the beautiful balsam root flowers (we call them Okanagan sunflowers) and the hills surrounding Sparkling Hill. I don’t usually do a wedding in two posts but there were just SO many beautiful moments I couldn’t narrow it down!
