As a Kelowna Wedding Photographer, ones enters a wedding day celebration with a lot of anticipation and butterflies. You are witnessing and capturing one of the most special days in a couples life. It truly is an honour and a privileged to stand beside someone and so intimately capture every little detail, glance and joyous moment that unfolds.

The wedding of Jaron and Brianna was one of the most emotive and special days I have been a part of in almost 20 years of capturing weddings.

I was able to convince my associate photographer Kate to come out of retirement and come away with me to Keefer Lake Lodge, my all time favorite venue to work at (it truly feels like home when I am there-thanks to all the staff that makes everyone feel SO welcomed) for this three day extravaganza.

Brianna and Jaron wanted me to capture the rehearsal evening (along with the ever magical sunset on the lake portraits I adore creating), wedding day and our extra fun adventure….going out in the Razor (an extreme, all terrain vehicle) Sunday to create more magical bride and groom portraits up in the mountains with unbelievable views of the Monashee Mountains. Apart from the black flies (which I still bare the bite marks from almost two weeks later) it is heaven on earth up there.

There were SO many magical moments and I know this couple has a beautiful life ahead of them. They are beautiful souls and I am so moved that God brought them together.
