Kelowna Wedding Photographer

As a Vernon and Kelowna Wedding Photographer, I love the adventures I often get to partake in while photographing a wedding. There are SO many incredible venues throughout the Okanagan and beyond and while this special wedding was a little bit further outside of where I normally roam, it was so compelling to make the drive.

Nestled outside of Merritt BC, in the Nicola Valley was AP Guest Ranch. This venue and the incredible ceremony site (atop a nearby mountain) is near and dear to the bride and grooms heart for many reasons and it was so incredibly special to be somewhere so special to them.

I have known the bride Deanna for many years. We used to sing together at Vernon Alliance Church and so when she reached out to see if I would be available Easter weekend, I was honoured.

There were so many beautiful moments including arriving to their ceremony on horseback, watching their grown children celebrate alongside their parents as groomsmen and bridesmaids, finding the tree that Chris, the groom, had carved their initials into and braving the wind together in a celebration of resistance and the beautiful nature they got married in.

There were SO many reasons to smile Easter weekend and celebrating Chris and Deanna was a highlight!
