This Kelowna Wedding Photographer had been anxiously awaiting the wedding of Sarah and Don since it was announced.  As friends of this amazing couple; my husband and I were thrilled when they announced  their engagement.

I was even more excited when they contacted me about being their Wedding Photographer! It’s a very special time when I get to take such gorgeous portraits of friends during their incredible day. Where ever they went that day, Sarah and Don radiated joy and love and it elevated all of us too!

I always remember how much I love September weddings when I photograph them. The day was absolutely perfect in both temperature and lighting and although we were a big wedding party (Sarah LOVES her girlfriends dearly and could never think of walking down aisle without a single one of them) we sailed through our day effortlessly.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the house (or on Don for that matter) as he either saw his bride for the first time during their special “First Look” or while he read her his beautiful vows. Even more moving during their vows was the fact that this couple exchanged vows with Don’s sister officiating.

Every part of the day was memorable and for them to then fly off to California to celebrate their honeymoon along the coast; seemed to top the weekend off perfectly.

You are such a fun loving, kind hearted, joyful couple-it was honour celebrating your beautiful day together!
