Okanagan Wedding Photographers

As Okanagan Wedding Photographers, weather in this area is pretty predictable. With Mike & Alex’s wedding date being March 1st, typically there would still be a bit of snow and the weather would still be on the cooler side. A few weeks prior, Mike and Alex went and did some scouting at Ellison Provincial Park for the area we created their wedding portraits and they sent me photos of the most beautiful and romantic snowy scenes.

Fast forward to the big day and we couldn’t believe what we were gifted with. A bright, beautiful sunny day (that felt more like those beautiful autumn tones you get when the light is so soft and magical) and it was so warm. It was perfection!

This day was very special for me to capture because Mike is actually the brother to my neighbour and their children, plus others I know, were ushers and flower girls. It was so fun to talk them about their excitement too leading up to the big day.

Throughout the day, the love for Mike and Alex shone through. From the emotional speeches, walks down the aisle that ended with tears and hugs and a beautiful, all encompassing sense of JOY, there were so many memorable moments.

You are such a beautiful couple, inside and out and I wish you a life of happiness together! What an incredible start to the 2025 wedding season!!!
