As photographers in Vernon, it is such an exciting day to wake up knowing we are photographing a Vernon couple who have such deep connections in our little city.

For this beautiful couple, they are deeply rooted in École Beairsto, our K-Grade 7 French Immersion School as is the the beautiful venue we worked at, and many of the guests. Even Kate, my amazing associate photographer’s son, attends Beairsto.

It made for a very tight knit group of celebrants who clearly all adored this sweet couple.

Having met Bob and Fiona a month earlier for their Engagement Session, I could tell from their connection how much their relationship was based on friendship, mutual admiration and love for one another.

There day couldn’t have been more beautiful. From Fiona’s brother piping in the wedding party with his bagpipes, to her brother walking her down the aisle, to her dad marrying them…this wedding was all about family and dear friends.

The venue, is new to our area and was absolutely beautiful. We also lucked out with a beautiful little lakeside natural reserve near it, so we had two amazing locations to capture these beautiful portraits.

Fiona and Bob, the love you two have for each other was so easy to capture. You two have a radiant life ahead of you. You both sparkle with a joy that is infectious and it was an honour for Kate and I to capture your incredibly beautiful day!!!
