As a Vernon Photographer who specializes in Weddings and Engagement Portraits, Jeff and Kayla’s beautiful wedding was highly anticipated this summer. As the only wedding that I photographed in August (all other clients decided to postpone to 2021) I was especially excited to capture their love story.

With the ceremony set at the beautiful Coldstream Creek Park we had an abundance of beautiful backdrops to create their beautiful portraits after the ceremony. We also made sure to take advantage of the scenic lake views of Kalamalka Lake via Kal Park on route to the reception. A BIG shout out to Kayla’s lovely maid of honour for braving the hike even though she is weeks away from welcoming a baby girl into her and her husbands life!

Jeff’s work takes him away from Vernon often, so even though we weren’t able to capture Engagement Portraits of these two beautiful people, the two of them were completely at ease in front of my camera. Kayla confessed that she was very nervous walking down the aisle (I don’t know many brides who aren’t) but the minute she had Jeff by her side, a beautiful calm washed over her. That’s totally evident by the way these two look at each other.

Jeff and Kayla; it was an immense honour to capture your day. The love you have for each other shines out from every portrait.
