Vernon Photographer, Wedded Bliss Photography, Celebrates with Craig and Jennifer

As a Vernon Photographer, having created signature Wedding Portraits of my amazing brides and grooms over the past 12 years, Kate and I ALWAYS look forward to a Wedding coordinated by the amazing Dee Cristante of Red Barn Weddings and Lone Pine Ranch.

As soon as our lovely couple, Craig and Jen, had secured their venue, they contacted me about their Wedding Portraits.  The groom and I had gone to high school together (although he is a few years older than me) and one of his best friends growing up, is one of my best friends brothers.  Craig and Jen happened to be over at their house one night and saw Graduation/Prom photos I had created last year of their daughter and family.  Craig, looking for a photographer, enquired about who had created the portraits, and the rest is history.  I am honoured that when Craig and Jen connected with my work and they could see themselves in the types of portraits I create.

Having photographed their engagement session, earlier this Spring at Kalamalka Park, I was excited to see them again and continue documenting their love story.

The weather on their Wedding day could not have been any better!  For a mid July wedding, weather here in the Okanagan Valley can be hot.  Especially for friends coming from Alberta, the temperatures can be shocking.  But we had a PERFECT day.  Mostly cloudy for gorgeous, well lit portraits.

Craig and Jen’s first look and Bride and Groom portraits were filled with excitement of the day to come.  Just thinking about Craig and how excited she was to become Mrs. Schwartz, Jen would tear up.  She was equally excited to see all her bridesmaids and groomsmen at Sparkling Hill Resort, where we continued their portraits with the bridal party.

After their beautiful ceremony at Lone Pine Ranch, overseen by the eloquent Wayne Laurie, of Kelowna Gospel Fellowship Church we continue the portraits at Dee’s amazing Red Barn.
