Vernon Photographer

As a Vernon Photographer, who creates stunning portraits for my Wedding and Newborn Clients;

Having received my photography degree 14 years ago from Western Academy of Photography, I’ve seen a lot of changes in the photography industry.  I started my degree in the darkroom and finished it in the digital era of pixels.

What hasn’t changed, is the importance of professional portraits. Whether it be of a beautiful family, a newborn baby, a wedding or headshots; those portraits capture the essence of the subject.

Headshots are something that clients come to me for their business, their acting portfolio or like the beautiful Jaedyn, for their application to Theatre School.

Having been a star athlete in the world of rhythmic gymnastics through Okanagan Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, Jaedyn has represented Team Canada in many competitions around the world. For those not familiar with Rhythmic Gymnastics; it is an amazing sport filled with pose, grace and amazing flexibility. Totally based on floor work, it is performed to music and uses apparatus: rope, hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon performed on a carpet that is 13m x 13m. Individual exercises are limited to 90 seconds per apparatus and emphasize mastery, coordination, expression, flexibility, musicality, balance, strength and agility. For example, it is not unusual to see a wide range of highly technical jumps or leaps in rope exercises.

Having retired, she is now looking at branching out into the world of theatre and using her voice as her musical instrument.

Jaedyn, having watched you shine brightly on the stage in numerous productions, I know you will light up which ever program you get accepted into. I am honoured to have captured your headshots.

Wedded Bliss Photography specializes in wedding and engagement photography in Kelowna and Vernon working at locations such as Summerhill Pyramid Winery, Silver Star Mountain Resort, Manteo Resort, Durali Villa and works as a Vernon Photographer
