There are certain wedding dates that seem to be really popular for Vernon Photographers. Megan and Josh have been booked with me for more than a year and it’s a really good thing they did. The inquiries for June 3, 2023 were continuously coming in. I think the start of June marks the beautiful weather, warm evenings and the official start of wedding season in the Okanagan Valley!

Having done Josh and Megan’s engagement portraits last July, (they are a super busy couple so we knew we wanted to plan it out well in advance) I knew how amazing our wedding day was going to be together.

They chose to only have portraits of themselves done (of course family ones too after the ceremony) but there was no wedding party and so to focus on them all day was a really beautiful experience. And SO relaxing.

Although it was hotter than your typical June 3rd, we managed to find those beautiful pockets of shade at all our locations and for the time in the vineyard (in full sun), we worked as fast as we could. Thanks for hanging in there!

Their wedding reception and ceremony site, was the most beautiful winery and it over looked Okanagan Lake. We were new to this venue and I can’t recommend it enough to couples looking for a beautiful venue. The staff was SO incredibly attentive and the food was out of this world.

Josh and Megan, it goes without saying that you must be having the most amazing honeymoon ever in Italy and I can’t wait to hear all about it! Until then, enjoy this beautiful sneak peek of your spectacular day!
