As Vernon Photographers who specialize in Engagement, Elopement and Wedding Photography, I absolutely adore planning and dreaming along side our clients. As they envision their special wedding day, one of my favourite things is dream along side them and plan out some of the key elements we will incorporate.

With Mike and Sarah living in Salmon Arm, but planning a wedding in Enderby, they had booked me for their June 2022 wedding before we had a chance to meet. Their busy schedules finally aligned and we were able to have coffee and envision for both their engagement session and wedding day.

Their Engagement Session day finally came and although a lot of the early winter snow had disappeared, we were still able to find some some up Little Mountain, near their beautiful home.

Having moved here from the lower mainland, Mike and Sarah are now living closer to family and their stunning home (designed and once owned by a prominent architect) was not only a beautiful backdrop for their Engagement Session, but it will be the backdrop for some of their wedding portraits too.

They are such a sweet couple. Although there is a height difference, you’d never know it. They just effortlessly fit into each others arms. Sarah, let’s not tell anyone that we were looking for the high side of the mountain for a few of the portraits shall we? It’ll be our little secret 😉

I can’t wait to see these two lovelies again in June!!!
