-Who inspires you?

I am inspired by beautiful English gardens and flowers in general.  One beautiful bloom can be an inspiration for an entire event.

-How did you get started in floral arrangements?

I have always been a very creative person so when the opportunity came 11 years ago to purchase 27th Street Florist I was in, quickly enrolled in a basic floral course at our local college and then continue to take courses with world famous designers who have really taught me an amazing amount.

-What has been your proudest accomplishment?

There are so many – I love making a sympathy arrangement for a family member that has meaning and significance to the deceased, that means everything to the family and pleases me that I can bring them some sort of comfort at that time.  I have done some absolutely stunning wedding events and I love when we get to do the entire wedding and make it a themed event.  To be voted Best Florist in the North Okanagan over and over again always makes me very proud.
