As a Vernon Wedding Photographer, I have photographed a lot of weddings.  Every single one has left it’s own unique fingerprint in my memory.  For the lovely wedding of James & Kelsey, I will always remember it with the word FAMILY.   It was immediate family only in attendance and I love how both James brother and Kelseys sister stood up for them.

Their ceremony, at the Red Barn Weddings in Vernon, is a favourite location of mine. There are so many beautiful scenic backdrops, the gorgeous Red Barn and the most important feature the hostess; Dee Cristante the Event Director. Dee is the best Event Director I know and everything was immaculate!

Kelsey and James wedding was completely coordinated by Dee so the couple had very little to plan while at their home in Calgary. Dee saw to every detail. I can’t imagine a better way to get married!

Kelsey and James have family who live in Vernon and they remember seeing the Red Barn and thinking what a perfect location it would be for their wedding. I couldn’t agree more!

One special guest was their little Boston Terrier, Molly. She is cherished and such a sweet little girl!

James and Kelsey are also the type of clients who just naturally fit into each others arms.  They are more comfortable in front of the camera, snuggled up together and I just loved creating these beautiful portraits for them.  They find joy and love in each other and I think it radiates out from each image.

James and Kelsey, it was an honour being a part of your beautiful day and I was thrilled to be a part of it!  I wish you all the happiness in the world!
