As Vernon Wedding Photographers, there is a very special bond that grows with clients when you have been able to capture the most important moments in their lives. For this wonderful bride and groom, I have been honoured to capture Maternity Portraits, Newborn Portraits and Santa Portraits for them. Year after year I have gotten to see their little girl grow up and now, it was mom and dads turn to have one heck of a celebration when they said their “I Dos”.

Jess contacted me last year when Eddie proposed and wanted to set up a meeting to discuss the exciting vision she had for their day. Although they already knew it would look different due to COVID, things would continue to change through out the coming year and the couple finally settled on an intimate backyard wedding with many family and friends joining in on zoom. All of Eddie’s family are overseas so we are booked for next April as well for a party to celebrate with everyone!

Eddie and Jess’s day was beyond perfect. All week it had been forecasting rain and not only did we have perfectly overcast skies (SO good for portraits) but it was warm too! It really couldn’t have been a better day.

Their first look at the B.X. Press was magical among the trees and blossoms and the kids involved couldn’t have been any cuter! I mean look at this ring security and flower girl squad. I think it is one of my favourite children’s portraits I have ever taken!

Eddie, Jess, Eira and Lucy (we can’t forget their beautiful dog) your celebration was full of joy, laughter and emotion and I am beyond honoured to have been by your side capturing all the beautiful moments!!!
