Wedding Photographers in the Okanagan

As Wedding Photographers in the Okanagan, we hear so many inspiring love stories. The love story of Cindy and Neal is no exception and as they don’t live in the Okanagan we had only had phone consultations until this past weekend. I was so excited to finally meet them in person!

Neal and Cindy have done a long distance relationship for almost nine years. So this day this day at Blue Grass Farms was no different in the fact that they decided to drive over 9 hrs. to get here and make their wedding day a destination wedding. Getting married at Blue Grass Farms and then having the immensely beautiful Otter Lake nearby, makes Blue Grass one of my favourite Okanagan wedding venues. The owners, Thea and Troy go out of their way to make everything extraordinary and it is felt.

All day it was a risk for major thunder storms and we had some massive wind come through a few hours before the wedding. Rain was hit and miss….but we were steadfast in the hope that the rain would dissipate by ceremony time and we treated with the most gorgeous lighting and a rainbow to cap it all off!

It was a beautiful and intimate ceremony; with only the closest friends and family and there was so much heart and soul in their beautiful vows. It truly was magical. And then to steal away to Otter Lake for their beautiful portraits was just too beautiful.
