As a Kelowna Wedding Photographer there are often ways I am connected to either the bride or groom. With this beautiful couple I have had the privilege of knowing the bride Amanda for many years.

Both her and her now husband Jeremy have a passion for giving back to the community they live in. Jeremy is a Coldstream Councilman and Amanda sits on many executive boards throughout the Okanagan and is a two term elected official for the area I live. They are truly a powerhouse who believe in making this gorgeous area we live in better.

This beautiful wedding was many years in the making and I couldn’t be happier that their day finally came. Together for 10 years, and trying to have the stars align for four of those years to get married; their big day finally came allowing family and friends to come together in the beautiful Okanagan.

Looking super dapper, I told Jeremy a brave man wears a black velvet jacket in July in the Okanagan. Thankfully, we had the gorgeous Gellatly Nut Farm next door to their beautiful venue and it provided all the shade we needed to capture all their beautiful portraits.

There is no question that these two will continue to take on the world and change it for the better. The love they have for each other and their family and friends was very apparent. You could see that their goal was to make everyone feel very welcomed and to have one heck of a party.
