Okanagan Wedding Photographer | Wedded Bliss Photography captures Jared and Jamie’s Picturesque Wedding

As an Okanagan Wedding Photographer, I get the privilege of working all over this beautiful valley!  From Vernon, through to Kelowna and all the way past Penticton to Kaleden, I LOVE the diversity of the Okangan Valley and that I get to use so many of its’ beautiful backdrops to tell my clients love stories!

For Jared and Jamie’s LOVE STORY, Kate and I got to travel to the tiny and beautiful town of Kaleden.  Famous for it’s beaches, vineyards and the ruins of a hotel that once stood there in the early part of the 20th century, Jared and Jamie traveled from Vancouver to spend almost a week in paradise so that their friends and family could relax at the picturesque Ponderosa Pines Resort on Skaha Lake.  Allowing family and friends to have a mini vacation before and after the Wedding was a big consideration in planning their Wedding.  They wanted it to be memorable, super fun and relaxing!

You could see in their choice of vendors how they aimed to make it fun.  From Mint Julep‘s adorable boler trailer that supplied the lawn games and bar services, to Alex of Gorgeous Georgias Home Made Ice Cream that arrived in an ice cream bicycle tailer!

Guests (including Kate and I) were treated royally as well to a delicious dinner by Joy Road Catering, decor and wedding coordinating by Top Knot events and groovy tunes that kept guests dance into the night by DJ Spinalshift.

Even though it was an absolute scorcher, everyone handled it marvellously and the little cloud dance Kate and I did worked out perfectly so that when we took Jamie and Jared out for their portraits along a portion of the Kettle Valley biking trails we had glorious clouds!  The love the bride and groom have for each other is evident in every image and they were an absolutely gorgeous couple to work with and immortalize.

We wish you a  world of happiness and a lifetime of love Jared and Jamie.  It was so evident you are loved near and far (the sister of the bride and her family came all the way from Scotland) based on the guests speeches and toasts so you have the world sending you love and light!
