Photographers in Vernon

Working as photographers in Vernon since 2005, the stunning wedding of Sunny and Sharon is a first for me being in the Vernon Sikh Temple and fulfills a life long dream of capturing such a culturally inspiring wedding. During our final portrait time together when Sunny was watching me pose his beautiful wife he said “I think you must have been Indian in your past life”. I take that as a great compliment Sunny!!!

I have always been drawn to the beautiful colours, traditions and who am I kidding…the FOOD of Indian Culture and I was so excited to meet and plan with Sunny and Sharon.

I also loved how much the three of us had in common in terms of meeting and marrying our life partners.

Sunny and Sharon met and married within three months. My husband and I were engaged 7 days after we first started seeing each other. I totally understand how you can meet and marry so quickly 😉

Sunny lived in Vancouver and Sharon lived here in Vernon.

Where they are going to live is still to be determined but I keep telling Sunny that even though Vernon’s pace of life is a lot slower than Vancouver, the commute and access to the great outdoors can’t be beat.

I was honoured to start the festivities for their beautiful wedding the night before with the Mehndi party. It was so lovely meeting so many of their friends and family the night before their big celebration.

It was an absolutely incredible day and I was so touched by the hospitality everyone showed us.

Sunny and Sharon you are incredible couple and I look forward to hearing about all the adventures you two have together!
