Kaleden Wedding Photographer | Wedded Bliss Photography Captures Sharon & Kyles’ Vancouver Engagement Session

Wedding season is upon this Vernon & Kaleden Wedding Photographer!   With Sharon and Kyle’s Wedding coming up at the end of June in Kaleden, I was thrilled that I finally made it to their home turf of Vancouver so I could photograph their Engagement Session!

It’s been more than a year since I first met Kyle and Sharon. They were in Kelowna planning their Wedding and I was one of the vendors they were interviewing.

I was immediately struck by the intimacy of their Wedding. No Wedding party, just a bride and groom and 60 or so close friends and family getting together to celebrate THEIR LOVE STORY. They were also getting married at Linden Gardens, a gorgeous little oasis in Kaleden. I went home with a smile on my face having met such an adorable couple.

Both graphic designers, they were destined to be together. Studying at different schools, they met at work and the rest, they say, is history.

When we met, we chatted about the possibility of doing their engagement session in Vancouver. Having family in Langley, I try to make it down their quite regularly so once I had a date, we started planning. Having spent significant time at Granville Island when she was getting her degree, Sharon asked if we could do the session there. Of course, I gladly agreed! I love Granville.

Doing the session on a Saturday, we knew it was going to be busy, so we started just as everything was opening at 9. From vendor stalls, to the beautiful ocean, to the incredible textures and colors of the buildings, Granville was a perfect backdrop for their session.

It’s only a few more weeks now until I see Sharon and Kyle and I can not wait to work with them again…on such a special day.
