Vernon Photographer | Josiah & Aidan Graduate

As a Vernon Photographer, nothing is more special to me, than photographing two very special men, that I’ve known since they were born; Graduate.

Josiah and Aidan are the sons of one of my best friends and seeing them graduate yesterday, made me a very proud Auntie…and feel very old!  Thanks guys 🙂  Your one year old birthday party doesn’t seem that long ago.

Yesterday they were 18 year old men, graduating from W.L. Seaton Secondary School.

Back in the day (again that makes me sound old) our Graduation was broken into two different events.  Prom (where we got dressed up with our dates like the images I photographed for Joey & Aidan) and then Graduation-a separate day to wear our cap and gown and to celebrate with family.

Now, it’s all one big day of celebration, followed by Dry Grad.  Talk about a whirlwind day of celebrating!

I wish I could have seen you in your cap and gown.  I know your mom sobbed watching you walk across the stage.  I knew she would 🙂

After photographing the boys mom, Carolyn & Scott (which I also photographed almost two years ago) it was so lovely to get most of the family back together again for a few more portraits.  You are one good looking bunch!

I am so very excited for the journeys that lay ahead for both of you, and where life will take you.  You are both such kind, considerate gentleman.  I love how fiercely you love your mama and your sister Emma and being such kind souls, will take you far.
