Kelowna Wedding Photographer | Rick & Elly

Being a Kelowna Wedding Photographer means I get to photograph my clients in some of the most gorgeous settings imaginable and Rick & Elly’s Wedding was no exception.  Photographed at the gorgeous Sparkling Hill Resort, Rick and Elly’s dream Wedding couldn’t have been any more beautiful.  The talented Shawna Gray, of White Orchid Wedding Consulting and her day of Wedding Co-ordinator, Janine, (along with Marlene from Sparkling Hill) executed the details superbly and the ballroom was absolutely stunning!  We were even blessed with a perfect cloud cover that kept the day cooler for everyone and the photographer that much more happy!

Being from Germany, Elly’s family all had to fly over, including her two cousins who were her maids of honour. It was incredibly special for Elly to have her brother present so he could walk her down the aisle.    The couples daughter was also a large party of the celebration, being the ring bearer and simply adding LOADS of sweetness to the day.

At the reception, Dwayne Mollin, kept the party going with lots of fun games and dances and the couples daughter, danced the night away too.  My son was particularly happy that the couple had the ever popular candy bar so I could bring him a sweet treat too.
