As a Vernon Wedding Photographer it doesn’t get more perfect than a stunning fall day, a gorgeous couple with their adorable son and a day filled with lots of family and friends all the way from Seattle to celebrate.

Felicia and Ramy’s ties to Vernon is that Felicia’s grandparents, on her dads side, live here.  The happy couple live in Washington State, as does most of the brides family.  The grooms mom and best man were from France….so almost everyone in attendance was an import 🙂  It was a very international celebration!  I think it is amazing that they planned a Wedding around their grandparents being able to attend.

One of the unique aspects of Felicia and Ramy’s day was that they didn’t have a ceremony as they were already married!  They got married at City Hall about 1/2 year ago and this was their big celebration with family and friends.  This was a first for me.  I’ve been photographing Weddings for 10 years and I have to say, I LOVED what a relaxed and fun day it was.  We had time to go to Soverign Park, (a first time for me and I absolutely LOVED it….can’t believe I have never been there before) Polson Park and Paddlewheel Park.   And there were no ceremonial stresses.  Just lots of time for photos, fun and a lively reception with an amazing dinner at Paddlewheel Hall.  Chef Martin Laprise and his team from the Chef In Stead created a delicious dinner and Sandrine’s french cake was divine!

Thank you Felicia and Ramy for involving me in your beautiful day and thanks so much Sonya (mom of the bride) for all the coordinating!  You created a memorable day for everyone to celebrate Felcia and Remy.
