Being a Vernon Photographer, I absolutely adore late summer weddings in our beautifully diverse Okanagan Valley.  September is traditionally such a warm, non rainy month and this year it has been absolutely incredible!

You then add a bride and groom who I absolutely adore and you have the perfect wedding for us to capture.

I have known the bride Emma since they day she was born.  She is the daughter to one of my best friends (her mom and I go back more than 30 years) and to see her daughter grow up and now marry such an incredible man was one of the best days I can remember being a wedding photographer.

Emma and Steve found an incredible venue, Timber Ridge Trails that suited their love for outdoors and horses perfectly.  As long as I can remember, Emma has had horses.  They have been her constant companion and the love she has for them was evident in making sure they were a part of the celebrations.  Same with her and Steve’s beautiful rescue dogs.

The wedding party were so photogenic and fun and using the beautiful forest and sunlight dancing through the trees made for so many incredible backdrops.

Emma and Steve.  There were so many times throughout your day that I had to stop myself from bursting into tears over the absolute joy that I had in my heart seeing the two of you so happy.  Love truly does have the ability to heal hearts, move mountains and pave a new exciting way forward for a life filled with adventures, joy and abundant love.  I love all of you so much!
