Vernon Wedding Photography introduces me to such amazing clients and families!  I first spoke to Kristy and Jonny over a year ago when they were planning their beautiful wedding at Paddlewheel Hall, while living in Northern Manitoba.  8 hours north of Winnipeg, they were both in their third year of teaching.  Kristy was a Grade 1 teacher and Jonny was upper elementary.

When I finally got to meet this gorgeous couple, it was only a few weeks before the Wedding.  We chatted over coffee about their exciting day, planned out the locations and timeline and of course, got to know each other better.  Kristy, with a giant smile on her face, recounted her first few weeks of teaching her first year.  It was a whole new world living that far up North, not to mention, first year teaching.  More important than all those details however, was how she first noticed Jonny, the other new teacher at the school.  Immediately drawn to each other, it was only a few weeks into their relationship that they knew without a doubt there were meant to be.  Kristy gave up her place and the two love birds moved in together.  They have been inseparable every since.

From their emotional first look (with all the Wedding party cheering them on) to the emotional glances and words spoken during the ceremony and speeches.  There was SO much joy, love and emotion present.  It was an absolute joy to capture their special day.
